Your mission
Menhir Photonics is a dynamic Swiss laser manufacturer offering laser solutions of unprecedented robustness and reliability to customers around the globe. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, our team has strong expertise in the development and production of ultrafast lasers for the markets of aerospace, telecom, and metrology. For our ambitious business scale-up we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the team and project managers with mechanical developments and processes.

Your profile
Key Responsibilities & Duties
*Leading technical projects
*Design CAD sub-assemblies and interfaces to larger CAD assemblies for optomechanical components and optoelectronic subsystems
*Perform rigorous tolerance analyses to ensure mechanical feasibility of the designs
*Create detailed, tolerance 2D drawings with FAI (First Article Inspection) for optical & mechanical components based on design for manufacturing considering supplier’s fabrication methods and metrology capabilities
