Software Quality Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Software QC and Test Engineering teams located in Santa Clara and Waldbronn, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing organization.
• Set team priorities, develop organizational capabilities, and allocate resources effectively to support business objectives.
• Coach and mentor engineers and technical leaders, supporting career development and building the skills needed to meet evolving business, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with software development, product management, and regulatory teams to define quality verification and validation strategies and integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee software testing, automation, risk management, and defect resolution to ensure products meet customer expectations, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Drive adoption of modern quality engineering practices, including test automation, shift-left quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure project compliance with applicable QMS processes and regulatory requirements through effective verification, validation, traceability, and test evidence.
• Champion quality and customer focus by leading strategic initiatives that improve product quality, operational effectiveness, and team performance.
